Getting Started

How do I sign up for Gruv?

Choose a talent or business account, create your credentials, verify your email when prompted, and complete the details shown for your path.

Updated July 18, 2026

Gruv has separate signup paths for a talent account and a business account. Choose the path that matches how you will use the product. Both start with account credentials; the business path also collects contact and company information before setup is complete.

What you need before you start

  • An email address you can access and a password.
  • For a business account, the contact person's first and last name.
  • For a business account, the company name, country, address, and any tax details the company form requests.
  • Time to read and accept the terms or business agreement shown in the signup flow.

Create the account

  1. Open signup and choose Create a talent account or Create a business account. If you arrived from an invitation, keep that invitation link available while you finish signing in or signing up.
  2. Enter the name fields shown, your email, and a password. Review the agreements beside the confirmation checkbox before continuing.
  3. If the flow asks you to verify your email, enter the code sent to that address. Use the resend action only after it becomes available.
  4. For a business account, continue to Tell us about your business and complete the company name, country, address, and other required fields. Submit only after the details match the business record you intend to use.

Continue from the correct starting page

After signup, the next page depends on the selected account path and any invitation you followed. A business user may need to choose or connect a team before finance actions are available. A talent may need to finish profile, identity, or payout setup before a client can select them as payable. Use Verifying your identity (KYC) when the product asks for an identity check, and Verifying your business (KYB)when a registered business sees a Business Verification step.

If signup stops

  • Confirm that the email and password fields are complete.
  • Check the inbox and spam folder if a verification code was sent.
  • Review the highlighted business field instead of resubmitting the entire form.
  • If you ask for help, include the account path, email domain, current step, and visible error. Do not include the password or verification code.
