Settings can list the workspaces available to your account, create a workspace, and mark one as active. Treat the active workspace as the context for the next action. A workspace name alone does not establish a legal-entity boundary or prove how every finance record is separated.
View and select a workspace
- Open Settings and choose the Workspaces tab.
- Review Your workspaces. Each row shows the workspace name, your role, and whether it is active.
- Choose Set active for the workspace you intend to use. Gruv stores that selection in the current browser.
- Return to the product area you need and confirm that its team or workspace notice matches the selection before creating records.
Create a workspace
In the same Settings tab, enter a workspace name and choose Create. After the workspace is created, refresh the list if needed and set the intended workspace active. Creating the name creates the workspace record; it does not configure verification, team membership, beneficiaries, payout policies, or finance capabilities. Complete the setup shown for that workspace before starting payment work.
Check context before a finance action
- Confirm the active workspace name and your role.
- If the client account connects to multiple teams, complete the team selector shown on the payment, talent, or Payment Runs page.
- Do not assume a talent, beneficiary, payout method, approval state, or batch from one context is available in another.
- Before exporting or sharing a record, open it and verify the visible workspace or team context.
If the selection looks different elsewhere
The Settings active-workspace choice is saved in browser storage. A different browser or device can hold a different local selection. If a workspace is missing entirely, ask an owner to check membership rather than repeatedly creating new workspaces.
