The current Payment Accounts page manages payout methods: bank destinations used when funds are paid out. It does not by itself create a client receiving account or confirm how a client payment will settle. Keep those two money flows separate when you choose an account.
Before adding a payout method
- Complete identity verification. Gruv refreshes the KYC status before opening the add-bank form and starts verification when approval is still required.
- Confirm the bank account belongs to the person or business represented by the verified profile.
- Choose the intended bank country and currency. The form uses those choices to determine which routing fields to show.
- Have the account-holder, address, and bank identifiers requested on screen. Only bank accounts are supported by the current add flow.
Add the bank method
- Open Payment Accounts and choose Add payout method.
- If Identity Verification opens, complete that flow first. Return to Payment Accounts after the status is approved.
- Select the country, currency, and available bank route. Depending on those choices, the form can request fields such as an account number, routing number, IBAN, SWIFT/BIC, or local clearing code.
- Enter the account-holder and address details shown, review the bank identifiers, and submit the form.
- After the method appears, open its details to review the label, nickname, status, and available actions. Choose Set as default when this should be the preferred payout method.
If the method cannot be added
- “Unable to confirm verification status” means the KYC status refresh did not complete. Retry before re-entering bank data.
- “Only bank accounts are supported right now” means the selected method type is not available in this flow.
- A routing-field error should be corrected in the named field; do not paste the full account number into a support message.
